Amber Wang is the top Tiger at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic after one round at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
The tournament will continue with one round Saturday and one round Sunday. Tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. local time/9:30 a.m. ET Saturday.
Wang is tied for ninth at +3, five shots back of leader Megan Thothong of Houston, who leads Chattanooga's Monica San Juan and Mercer's Teresa Romeo by three strokes. As a team, Houston (+9), ranked 26th nationally, leads by eight shots over LSU with Princeton 11th at +41.
