Tigers Tie for Top Score in Saturday's Round at LSU

Four Golfstat top-50 teams are in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La., and the Princeton women's golf team matched the best round that any team in the 12-school field posted in Saturday's second round.

Princeton's 17-over 305 cut 24 strokes off its score from Friday's first round, moving the Tigers up a spot to 10th place at +58. Houston, ranked 26th nationally by Golfstat, leads at +26 by 11 strokes over host LSU heading into Sunday's final round. Play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. local/9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.

Junior Amber Wang stands sixth in the 72-player field at +6, while Houston's Megan Thothong's even-par score leads LSU's Claudia De Antonio by two strokes.
