Princeton Set to Visit Harvard, Dartmouth as Regular Season Concludes

With the Ivy League title race still up for grabs, the Princeton men's tennis team will head to Harvard Saturday and Dartmouth Sunday for a pair of 1 p.m. matches.

The Ivy standings shape up like this: Dartmouth and Penn co-lead the league at 4-1 with Columbia at 3-1. Harvard is next at 3-2 with Princeton at 2-3, Brown and Cornell at 1-3 and Yale at 0-4. While half the league will wrap up this weekend, Yale will go to Brown and Columbia will go to Cornell next weekend.
Princeton met Dartmouth already this season, with the Big Green getting a 4-1 win in the ECAC Championship semifinal. The Tigers faced both twice last year, defeating both in the ECAC tournament before falling to Harvard and defeating Dartmouth in Princeton during the Ivy season. The New Englanders swept Princeton in the Tigers' last visit to Harvard and Dartmouth in 2016.
Princeton stands 17-10 overall with Davey Roberts posting a team-high 14 singles wins during the dual-match season, including 5-1 at fourth, and sophomore Payton Holden and rookie Ryan Seggerman have a team-high 15 doubles wins together.
The Big Green are ranked 27th nationally as a team by the ITA with Charlie Broom as the 114th-ranked singles player in the nation and Broom and David Horneffer as the 60th-ranked doubles team. Harvard is ranked 30th as a team with Logan Weber and Kenny Tao ranked 85th in doubles.
