Princeton Track Debuts Mike Brady Invitational Mile

The Princeton men's track & field program will honor its former head coach Mike Brady, who passed in November, with the Mike Brady Invitational Mile this weekend at the Larry Ellis Invitational.
The Mike Brady Invitational Mile will take place at 2:15 p.m., at Weaver Stadium on Saturday, April 21.
Seniors William Paulson, Garrett O'Toole, Noah Kauppila and sophomore Conor Lundy, will attempt to break the four-minute mile, while also running alongside volunteer coach and Olympian Robby Andrews. Kauppila has the best mile time amongst the Tigers with a 4:01.20, while O'Toole has a mile PR of 4:03.61.
Four Tigers have run a sub-4, including the first Bill Burke at the 1991 Millrose Game. It has happened three times in the past six years with Peter Callahan '13, Michael Williams '14 and Joe Stilin '12.

Brady, who coached both cross country and track & field at Princeton from 1992-2004, won 17 Ivy League Heps championships including three straight Triple Crowns from 1997-2000.
