Princeton is your 2018 Ivy League Tournament Champion! The Tigers, who have won more Ivy League tournament championships than any other team, defeated Penn 13-10 on Sherrerd Field to claim their fourth tournament championship and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The selection show will be held tonight, at 9:30 p.m., on NCAA.com.

Junior Elizabeth George was named the Most Outstanding Player as she scored six goals won 16 draw controls and caused two turnovers. Joining George on the all-tournament team were senior Ellie McNulty, sophomore Tess D'Orsi and freshmen Mary Murphy and Kyla Sears.

No. 15 Princeton (12-5) took a 2-0 lead but No. 13 Penn (13-4) answered right back with two from Gabby Rosenzweig. From there the teams traded goals with seven ties during the game while the Tigers' defense kept Penn from ever taking the lead.

D'Orsi had four goals today and one assist, and net her 100th career point on the go-ahead goal at 8:23 of the second on a fast-break goal and feed from McNulty. D'Orsi gave Princeton its first two-goal lead since the 27:43 mark of the first when she buried a free-position goal at 7:14. Junior Kathryn Hallett padded the lead with a goal at 3:42, when she dropped the ball, forcing her defenders to pounce, which left Hallett a lane after picking up the loose ball and she capitalized.

Freshman Sam Fish made 11 saves as Princeton outshot Penn 34-30. On the other end, Penn's Mikaila Cheeseman stopped eight shots.

Sears and George both tallied hat tricks this afternoon, and senior Camille Sullivan had a goal and two assists. Senior Colby Chanenchuk chipped in two helpers. George won five of Princeton's eight draws.

Rosenzweig had four goals for the Quakers, while Erin Barry had two goals and two assists, as the only two players to have multiple-point games.

Princeton is now 26-22-3 in the series with Penn and have won the last three meetings with a sweep this year including a 21-8 win in the regular season.
