Mirabella, Schneider Cap Princeton Careers As CRCA All-Americans

Megan Mirabella and Emily Schneider joined the Princeton women's lightweight program during the fall of 2014 with every intention of leading the Tigers back to the top level of the sport. They graduated with medals in four straight postseason events, a feat the Tigers hadn't accomplished since 2010-11, and both recently also added CRCA All-America honors.
The College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 2018 All-Americans in women's lightweight rowing, and the senior duo of Mirabella and Schneider shared the honors for the IRA bronze medalist. Mirabella was a four-year coxswain for the Tiger 1V, and her presence and experience was invaluable in the tough postseason racing over the last two years. Schneider was one of Princeton's top rowers and the 2018 team captain, and she was the driving veteran that helped Princeton medal at both championship events in both 2017 and 2018.
Princeton's recent surge has caught the attention of the CRCA, as this is the second straight season that multiple Tigers have earned All-America recognition. Juliette Hackett and Christina Warren both claimed the honors in 2017.
Princeton will return the majority of its 1V in 2019, including a number of freshmen and sophomores from the successful 2018 spring.
