Zhao Second, Tigers Third as Princeton Invitational Comes to a Close

Princeton freshman Emma Zhao carded a 71 Sunday to follow up her first-round 72 from Saturday and lead the Princeton women's golf team at the Princeton Invitational, finishing second overall.
Yale's Ami Gianchandani cut seven strokes off her Saturday score to turn in a five-under 67 Sunday and claim the title at -3, two strokes in front of Zhao.
Penn State, which led Georgetown by three strokes after Saturday's first round, turned in another six-over 294 to win the title at +12 by eight strokes over the Hoyas.
Princeton cut seven strokes off its Saturday score to jump three spots from sixth, and Annie Kong, playing as an individual, eagled the par-five third hole in Sunday's round.

The Tigers will head to the Old Dominion Fall Invite next Friday through Sunday to continue the fall season.
