Aririguzoh Earns First Ivy Player of the Week Honor

Following a career-best 20-point game in Princeton's 68-65 overtime win over Penn Saturday in Jadwin Gym, junior Richmond Aririguzoh has earned Ivy League Player of the Week honor.
Aririguzoh went 9 of 13 from the field and 2 of 2 from the stripe, raising his previous single-game scoring best by six points and adding seven rebounds. It was the 10th double-figure scoring game of the season for Aririguzoh, whose single-game best over his first two seasons was nine points.
Aririguzoh is a 65.7 percent shooter from the field this season and is a solid .776 from the free-throw line while adding 5.1 rebounds a game.
The win allowed Princeton to open the Ivy League season 1-0 heading into Saturday's rematch at The Palestra before the first-semester finals break begins.
Aririguzoh's award is Princeton's fourth Ivy weekly honor of the season, with two Ivy Player of the Week awards going to Devin Cannady and one rookie award going to Jaelin Llewellyn.
