Skov Honored as Ivy Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Natasha Skov was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced today.
Skov came off the bench to produce 20 kills and a .439 hitting percentage as the Tigers picked up a 3-1 victory over Brown on Saturday. The senior captain followed that with nine kills as Princeton swept Yale on national television. She also added 13 digs and two block assists in the Tigers' 2-0 weekend.
With the win on Sunday, head coach Sabrina King's unit improved to 8-6 overall and 4-1 in the Ivy League while Yale dropped to 8-6 and 4-1 in the conference. The loss ended an eight-game winning streak for the Bulldogs. Cornell remains at the top of the league at 5-0 with Princeton and Yale one game back.
The Tigers head on the road to take on Harvard (Oct. 18, 7 p.m.) and Dartmouth (Oct. 19, 5 p.m.) next weekend.
