Poling, Bosancic Advance at ITF M25 Event in Florida

Both Thomas Bosancic and Karl Poling won their first-round matches Sunday in the qualifying singles draw of the ITA M25 event in Naples, Fla.
Bosancic didn't give up a game in getting past India's Nama Heman 6-0, 6-0, and Poling knocked out the draw's fourth seed, up 5-1 in the first set when opponent Alexander Knight retired.
Monday will see Bosancic take on the top seed, Florida junior Oliver Crawford, and Poling will face Argentinian Augstin Maria Gascia. With the field down to 24, the remaining players will have to win two matches to gain one of the six spots in the main singles draw.
