Eight From Women’s Tennis to Compete at June Stewart Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Beginning on Friday, November 1, eight members of the Princeton University women's tennis team will compete at the June Stewart Invitational at the Currey Tennis Center in Nashville, Tennessee hosted by Vanderbilt University.
Competing for the Tigers will be senior Clare McKee, juniors Stephanie Schrage and Nathalie Rodilosso, sophomore Brianna Shvets along with freshmen Daria Frayman, Zoe Howard and Michelle Sorokko.
Shvets and Howart are coming off winning a share of the ITA Northeast Regional Title after winning their semifinals Tuesday at Army West Point. Howard beat Yale's Caroline Dunleavy 6-0, 7-6 and Shvets beat Syracuse's Miranda Ramirez, ranked 64th in the nation by the ITA, 6-4, 6-2 in advancing to the final.
Other teams with student-athletes at the June Stewart Invitational include Middle Tennessee State University, Lipscomb University and the University of Kansas.
Tournament Format
Friday: singles 10 a.m., doubles 1 p.m., singles to follow
Saturday: singles 10 a.m., doubles 1 p.m., singles to follow
Sunday: singles 10 a.m., doubles 1 p.m., singles to follow
