Tigers to Open Season Sunday With Princeton Open

Across 10 mats in Jadwin Gym, the Princeton wrestling team will begin the 2019-20 season with the third-annual Princeton Open.

The competition is set to get underway Sunday at 9 a.m. Brackets are available here.

Army West Point, Binghamton, Columbia, Hofstra, Lehigh, Penn, Rider, Rutgers, and Sacred Heart will join the host Tigers in sending wrestlers to the event, which will include high school wrestlers as well as collegians.

The Tigers were announced this week as the No. 15 team in the National Wrestling Coaches Association preseason poll. Among other teams in the event, Lehigh was ranked No. 11, and Rutgers, Army West Point, and Binghamton received votes.

A list of competing wrestlers will be added late Saturday on TrackWrestling, and the site will have brackets the morning of the event. Live coverage of the competition will be on ESPN+.
