Dartmouth Spoils Ivy Opener for Princeton

Princeton's four-game win streak came to an end on Saturday at Burnham Field, as Dartmouth took a 1-0 game in the Ivy League opener from the Tigers.
Eric Sachleben's goal in the 72nd minute was the difference maker. The goal came off a long throw near the corner flag from Ohad Yahalom, with Ahria Simons getting a head on it and Sachleben getting the first touch to send it into the upper left 90.
The reigning Ivy champion outshot Dartmouth 11-7 and took five more corner kicks but wouldn't be able to find the equalizer.
Jacob Schachner made three saves in goal for the Tigers, including this one:
Alex Budnik stopped all four shots he faced in the effort for Dartmouth, as the Big Green move to 4-3-1 on the season.
Princeton, now 5-3 on the season, hosts Delaware on Tuesday night on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium. Game time is at 7 p.m.
