November 01, 2019 | Women's Ice Hockey
Carly Bullock swiped the puck in Princeton's offensive zone less than a minute into Friday night's ECAC Hockey game at Colgate, fired it on net and gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
After 20 saves from netminder Rachel McQuigge, that's where it ended up as the No. 5/6 Tigers stayed perfect on the new season.
Princeton outshot Colgate 24-20 on the night as McQuigge completed her first shutout since Jan. 11, 2019 at Cornell.
The goal was Bullock's fifth on the season and helped improve Princeton to 4-0 heading into a Saturday 3 p.m. visit to Cornell, which is ranked third in both the USA Hockey and USCHO polls.
