Men’s Tennis Has Impressive Day Two at Ralston/Neufueld Invitational

SINGLES RESULTS | DOUBLES RESULTS
DALLAS – Member of the Princeton University men's tennis team resumed play at the Ralston/Neufeld Invitational hosted by Southern Methodist University Saturday.
"It was a very productive day and I was pleased to see everyone have success," said head coach Billy Pate. "We played particularly well in several spots and it was a good opportunity for our guys to make adjustments and battle through some close matches. Thus far the event has been a valuable experience with great competition and we'll look to finish strong tomorrow."
Kabir Sarita earned a 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-2 victory over Baylor University's Rahul Dhokia in the main draw of the Blue Flight and moved on to face Eduardo Simo of the University of Texas at Arlington where he prevailed 6-4, 6-4.
Thomas Bosancic was able to take No. 37 Charles Sarrio of SMU to three sets, coming up just short 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. He would then face Stefano Latinovic of Wichita State University and earned a 6-4, 6-2 win. While Noah Agarwal fell 6-2, 6-2 to Wichita State's Alexander Richards, he bounced back with a 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (8) triumph over Avery Pennywell of SMU.
Bill Duo advanced to the semifinals of the consolation draw of the White Flight after overcoming Nicholas Ocana-Lavoie of Mississippi State University 6-3, 7-5. He then overcame Enrique Paya of Arkansas 6-2, 6-4.
In doubles, the team of Payton Holden and Davey Roberts defeated Baylor's Dickerson and Fratzen 8-6 to earn a spot in the main draw semifinals tomorrow. The Princeton duo will take on Dellien and Frosa of Wichita State University.
In the consolation doubles draw, Sarita and Will Peters downed the Texas Junior College team of Lourenco Gasperini and Misha Kvaritallani 7-5. They then fell to Campbell Salmon and Mohamed Abdul Aziz of Rice University 6-4.
Also playing in the consolation doubles draw was Duo and Noah Agarwal, who had taken Bosancic's place. They opened the day by beating Michael Smith and Pennywell of SMU 6-2 then obtained the opportunity to play in the semifinals after overcoming Miguel Cabrera and Angel Diaz of UT Arlington 6-4. They will take on Zach Grueber and Alexander Richards of Wichita State tomorrow.
