Women’s Tennis Has Successful Day Two at June Stewart Invite

RESULTS
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Princeton University women's tennis team had another successful day at the June Stewart Invitational, as its members won nine out of the eleven matches they competed in at the Currey Tennis Center on the campus of Vanderbilt University.
In singles, winners included Grace Joyce as she overcame Kate Popov of Lipscomb 6-1, 6-1 and Clare McKee who defeated Lipscomb's Ana Trbenzik 6-1, 7-5. Nathalie Rodilosso came out on top 7-6, 6-1 against Liza Diachenko of Lipscomb while Brianna Shvets earned a 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 win over Anna Ross of Vanderbilt. Daria Frayman also picked up a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Vanderbilt's Marcella Cruz.
In doubles, the team of Zoe Howard and McKee defeated Dasha Kourkina and Amanda Meyer of Vanderbilt 8-2. Shvets and Fray earned an 8-5 triumph over Middle Tennessee State University's Lidia Burrow and Lee Barnard while Joyce and Rodilosso overcame Marta Peris Herrero and Gupta, also of MTSU. Finally, Schrage and Sorokko picked up an 8-1 victory over Lipscomb's Maddox Bandy and Trbenzik.
