Connors and Fillier Named ECAC Hockey Player and Rookie of the Week

Princeton's Maggie Connors and Sarah Fillier both led the nation with seven-point weeks, averaging 3.50 points per game to capture ECAC Hockey Player and Rookie of the Week honors.
Connors scored five goals and two assists, while Fillier had one goal and six assists as Princeton swept the weekend and won the Ivy League title. Each had five-point games at Brown as they become the first Tigers since Kim Pearce in 2006 to have a five-point game.
Connors scored four goals, including the game winner, and one assist at Brown. The next day at Yale she scored a goal and an assist, finishing her weekend with a +5 on-ice rating.
Fillier scored one time and assisted on four goals, including the game winner at Brown. The next day in a win at Yale she assisted on two of her team's four goals. She finished +6 on the weekend while winning 23 face offs.
Princeton remains in first place in the ECAC Hockey standings with 31 points, three ahead of Cornell and Clarkson. The Tigers look to gain four critical points this weekend when they host Union and Rensselaer in the final home games of the regular season.
