No. 14 Princeton Travels to LaSalle, Marist This Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers remain No. 14 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Poll, the organization announced today.
Princeton travels to LaSalle on Friday (Feb. 22, 7 p.m.) before taking part in the Marist Invitational (Feb. 23). The Tigers take on the host school on Saturday (12 p.m.) before two against No. 19 Wagner (12:45 p.m.) and Siena (3:45 p.m.) on Sunday. Princeton have never lost to Marist in program history (14-0) and is a combined 22-1 against Wagner and Siena.
The Tigers had just one game last week, taking down Villanova, 15-7, on the road. Amy Castellano registered four goals and five assists, a career high, to pace the offense. Castellano was rewarded with the CWPA Co-Player of the Week accolade.
Castellano leads the team in goals with 16 and is second in points (26). Lindsey Kelleher's 19 assists have pushed to the top of scoring list (28 points). Laura Larkin (14) and Eliza Britt (11) also have over 10+ goals for Princeton.
The top 10 in the latest Varsity Poll did not change from the previous week. USC, Stanford, UCLA, Cal., and Hawaii are the top five.
