Women's Golf Team to Resume Spring Slate This Weekend in Georgia

The second tournament of the Princeton women's golf team's spring season will bring the Tigers to the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., for the Valspar Augusta Invitational.

Along with host Augusta University and Princeton, the field will include Central Arkansas, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Daytona State, East Tennessee State, Georgia, Memphis, Purdue, South Florida, Texas Tech and Toledo. It's a group that includes 10 Golfstat top-100 teams, led by 25th-ranked Purdue.

Play will begin Saturday for two rounds beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and continue Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start for a single round.

Princeton began its season with three rounds of match play in Florida, hosted by Ball State, where the Tigers won two of three. Following the Augusta event, Princeton will continue its spring season with a return to Florida for the Harvard Invitational at the end of March.
