Larkin Earns Second Straight CWPA Rookie of the Week Award

PRINCETON, N.J. – Laura Larkin was selected as the CWPA Rookie of the Week for the second straight week, the conference announced today.
Larkin registered 10 points at the LMU Invite over the weekend. Against Cal-State East-Bay, the freshman scored twice and had two helpers before assisting on two goals vs. No. 19 San Jose State. She had a hat trick vs. Pomona-Pitzer and scored a tally vs. No. 12 Loyola Marymount. Larkin is the first Princeton player to win a weekly honor twice this season. Amy Castellano and Marissa Webb also earned accolades from the CWPA.
Larkin is second on the team with 34 goals this year, adding 18 assists, 16 drawn ejections and nine steals. Princeton plays No. 25 San Diego State tonight at 7 p.m.
