FIllier Earns ECAC Hockey Player of the Week Honors

Sarah Fillier has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week it was announced by the league this afternoon, earning her fourth weekly honor of the year.
Fillier averaged 3.00 points per game, to lead the nation, along with Wisconsin's Annie Pankowski. She had six points, with a league-high four goals and two assists. She finished +4 and won 65.3 percent of her face offs (32-17). In Game 1 vs. St. Lawrence, Fillier had her first career hat trick, a natural hat trick as the Tigers won 4-1. In Game 2 she had a goal and two assists, including on the game-winning goal in a 6-2 decision.
Fillier is a finalist for both the ECAC Forward and Rookie of the Year.
Princeton, ranked No. 7 in the latest national poll will face No. 5 Cornell in the ECAC Hockey semifinals on Saturday at Lynah Rink at 1 p.m. The championship game is Sunday at 2 p.m.
