No. 15 Princeton Secures 8-4 Decision Over Brown

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 15 Princeton Tigers did not allow a goal for the first 12 minutes of game action in an 8-4 victory over the Brown Bears at Kinney Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

Head coach Derek Ellingson's group scored the first four tallies of the contest before Brown got on the scoreboard. The Tigers kept the Bears at bay, taking a 6-2 lead into halftime. The second half looked similar to the start of the meeting as Princeton held Brown scoreless for over nine minutes.

Brown closed within three, 7-4, with 4:09 remaining in the game, but Lindsey Kelleher's goal with 32 seconds to go sealed the win.

Princeton finishes the regular season tomorrow (Apr. 14) against No. 18 Bucknell. With the win, the Tigers will lock up the No. 2 seed in the CWPA Championships and play the No. 7 seed in the first round.
