Destination: Georgia! Tigers Headed to Athens for NCAA Regional

It took some patience, but the Ivy League champion Princeton men's golf team learned its destination for the NCAA Regional Wednesday night.
In the second-to-last regional field unveiled on the Golf Channel broadcast, the Tigers learned they were headed to the University of Georgia's home course in Athens, Ga., as one of 13 teams in the Athens Regional to run May 13-15.
This will be Princeton's first trip to the NCAA Regionals since 2013. The Tigers count the 2019 Ivy League Rookie of the Year in Max Ting, who was named second-team All-Ivy, as well as a pair of 2019 first-teamers in Evan Quinn and Sam Clayman.
The top five teams from the Athens Regional, as well as the top player not on one of those five teams, will advance to the NCAA Championships, held May 24-29 at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
