Shwarzbard is Runner-Up in Long Jump at IC4A Championship

Freshman Aviram Shwarzbard highlighted Day 1 of the IC4A Championships for the Tigers as Princeton hosts the championship at Weaver Stadium.

The Ivy Heps runner-up in the event as well, Shwarzbard leapt to 7.34 (24-1) to take second place. He also had jumps of 7.17 and 7.11. Sophomore Gilron Tsabkevich was seventh in the event with a 7.06 (23-2) while recording jumps of 7.02 and 6.97 as well.

Sophomore Drake Anzano ran close to his PR in the 1500 as he finished in 3:54.62 (46.63, 1:03.49, 1:03.50).

Freshman Jakob Kintzele clocked a 9:25.68 in his third time running the 3000m steeplechase as a collegian.

In the final event of the night, junior Gannon Willcutts was fourth in the 10k crossing the line at 30:18.84

The meet concludes tomorrow afternoon.
