Borstlap and Offstein Lead Tigers at ECAC Championship

Results
Freshman Hanne Borstlap and senior Madison Offstein led the Tigers on Day 1 of the ECAC Championship at Weaver Stadium today.
Bostlap was fifth in the pole vault, clearing 3.81 (12-6) on her second attempt. She passed on the opening height of 3.61, was over 3.71 on her first try. Sophomore Alexandra Munson was ninth at 3.71 (12-2) taking down the height on her third effort after passing on the opening height.
Just two days after running a PR in the 1500 at the Army West Point Twilight meet, Offstein was at it again with another personal best. She clocked 4:22.65 (49.96, 1:11.26, 1:10.93, 1:10.51) to take fifth overall with the second fastest time run by a Tiger this season.
In the hammer throw, junior Ellen Scott-Young threw a 55.54 (182-3) on her final attempt to take ninth. She also had throw of 54.53, 54.26, and 55.33. Freshman Luisa Chantler Edmond hit 52.23 (171-4) on her second attempt.
The Princeton record holder in the javelin, sophomore Rylie Pease found 40.09 (131-6) on her opening toss.
The ECAC Championships conclude tomorrow afternoon.
