Amaechi Named GPT Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Obiageri Amaechi was named the GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week, presented by Coach USA. This is her second time earning the honor this season.
Amaechi was named the Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet after her performance in the discus at the 2019 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championship. Earning her second straight title in the discus, Amaechi set the Ivy League and Princeton record in the event with a throw of 57.95 (190-1). The throw is the sixth best throw in the nation this year.
An All-America in the event, Amaechi finished seventh in her first appearance at the NCAA Championships last spring.
