Heavies Send Five Rowers To U-23 World Championships

The Princeton men's heavyweight rowing team will have five representatives at the U-23 World Championships next weekend in Florida.
James Quinlan (Ireland 4+), Jonas Juel (Norway 1x), Nathan Phelps (United States 4x), David Bewicke-Copley (Great Britain 8+) and Floyd Benedikter '23 (Germany 8+) will be representing Princeton during this international competition. This group are part of 12 rowers from the Shea Rowing Center that will be at the Championships.
Bewicke-Copley is going for his fourth straight medal as he's collected two silvers and a bronze. Juel is participating in his second U-23 race.
The 2019 World Championships take place July 24-28 in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida. For more information on the regatta, check out this story.
