Princeton Has 14 Named To ACWPC All-Academic List

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers had 14 players named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic list, the organization announced today.
Divided into three teams (Outstanding: 4.0-3.71; Superior: 3.70-3.41; Excellent: 3.40-3.20), the total shatters the all-time high of 573 established last year and includes 190 Outstanding, 273 Superior and 181 Excellent selections.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a grade point average (GPA) in excess of 3.20. Teams must achieve a 3.0 GPA to garner honors.
Jamie Kim, Paige Thompson, Sarah Lawson and Sophie Kader earned outstanding honors while Alana Evans, Amy Castellano, Annie Robinson, Kasey Bersh, Marissa Webb and Nicole Kresich picked up superior accolades. Eliza Britt, Lindsey Kelleher, Maddie Pendolino and Maddy Damato nabbed excellent distinctions.
Princeton went 21-9 this season, reaching the CWPA Championship Game for the third straight season. The Tigers won eight games against nationally ranked foes, seven against schools from California and finished No. 15 in the final CWPA Varsity Poll.
