Villanova's Brice McInroy scored in the ninth minute to put Villanova ahead, and a goal in the 69th minute from Allison Breed squared the match at 2-2, eventually sending it to overtime.
The Tigers will welcome William & Mary, coached by the winningest head coach in Princeton women's soccer history, Julie Shackford, Sunday at 1 p.m. on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.
Postgame Notes:
• Princeton now leads the all-time series with Villanova 18-7-2 and is unbeaten (7-0-2) in nine against the Wildcats since a 2003 NCAA first-round loss to Villanova at Virginia. The only other tie in the series was in 2007 at Princeton Stadium, the year before the renovated Lourie-Love Field opened as Roberts Stadium.
• Courtney O'Brien had four two-goal games as a sophomore, one two-goal game as a junior, and now two two-goal games as a senior. All but one of her 15 career goals has come in a two-goal game.
