Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Tops Villanova

FULL RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's & women's swimming & divings teams hosted their first meet inside DeNunzio Pool Friday afternoon and picked up a pair of victories over Villanova University.
Princeton's men overcame the Wildcats 226-74 and its women defeated Villanova 247-53. The Tigers also earned first-place finishes in 30 out of the 32 events contested.
Princeton's divers also performed strongly. Freshman Matthew Chao achieved his NCAA zone qualifying score in the 3-meter event with a 320.55, meaning all four men and all four women are now qualified to compete at the NCAA Zone A Championships at West Virginia University in March. This is the second-straight year all of Princeton's divers have achieved their qualification.
Katrin Lewis also moved into the top-10 all-time on the 1-meter board in dual meets, as her score of 287.33 has her ranked ninth.

The Tiger women will host Columbia University on Saturday, January 25. Princeton's men will face Harvard University and Yale University from Friday, January 31-Saturday, February 1 inside DeNunzio Pool.
