Incoming Freshman Eden Helps Team USA to 2020 IIHF World Championship

Incoming freshman Lacey Eden helped Team USA to a gold medal at the 2020 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia over the holiday break, avenging the team's only loss during the tournament with a 2-1 overtime win over Canada in the final.
Eden, who was Team USA's Player of the Game in a 3-0 semifinal win over Russia in which she scored a goal, had points the first four of the five U.S. games during the tournament, beginning with two assists in a 4-1 win over Finland, following that with an assist on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Russia, and scoring the only goal in a 2-1 loss to Canada to close the preliminary round.
The five-point effort in the event led the U.S. in scoring, earning a place on the all-tournament team.
