PRINCETON – The Princeton women's lightweight rowing team has announced its 2020 schedule.

The following week, Princeton heads to the Knecht Cup on Cooper River (Apr. 10-11). In 2019, the Tigers trailed just Stanford, collecting a silver medal while the fours claimed gold. The Class of 2006 Cup vs. Georgetown gets underway on Apr. 18 at Lake Carnegie. The Tigers regained the cup after losing it the year prior.
Eastern Sprints are May 3 in Worcester, Mass. After improving at the 2017 and 2018 Sprints with medals, the Tigers took it up a notch in 2019, securing the gold medal. They won a thriller, crossing the finish line at 6:38.16, topping Boston University (6:39.56) by 1.5 seconds. BU earned the crown last season and in 2016.
The 2020 IRA Championships take place in Mercer, N.J (May 29-31). The Tigers placed second last season, falling to the five-time defending national champion Stanford by 4.5 seconds. It was the first time that the Tigers have medaled in three straight IRAs since 2005-07.
