SERIES INFORMATION
Friday marks the 118th meeting all-time between Princeton and Colgate. The Tigers are winless in their last six meetings with Colgate dating back to the 2017-18 season, with an 0-4-2 mark against the Raiders. The teams have already met twice this season, including a 2-2 tie at Colgate and a 3-1 win for 'Gate in Belfast during the Friendship Four. The game in Belfast did not count in the ECAC standings.
Cornell owns a 92-53-8 record over the 153 all-time meetings between the two teams, including a 5-1 win in Ithaca this season. The Big Red have won three in a row in the series, the last Princeton win a 4-1 win in the ECAC semifinals in 2018.
SO, WE MEET AGAIN
With the Tigers and Raiders meeting for the third time in the regular season, this marks the first time since 2015-16 where Princeton has met the same team three times in regular season games. The last time Princeton lined up against an opponent three times before the playoffs was against Yale in the 15-16 season, the extra game coming as part of the Capital City Classic in Trenton.
FORGET ABOUT IT
Goalie Jeremie Forget has started seven of the last nine games. He enters the weekend No. 13 in the nation in save percentage (.929) and No. 18 in the country in GAA (2.22). Since he took over as starter in December, he has a .932 save percentage and has a 2.10 GAA. Three weeks ago, he stopped all 22 shots faced for his first career shutout in the 1-0 overtime win at SLU.
CRESSEY'S CORNER
Senior Jackson Cressey is second on the team in points with 13 through 19 games. His nine assists are second on the team, and he is the only Tiger to have scored on both the power play and penalty kill this season. He still sits second on the team in points despite going without a point over his last three games. Prior to this stretch, he had notched a point in 5 of 6 games. With 107 career points, he is tied for 11th on the Tigers' all-time list and he is ten away from the No. 10 spot. He's tied for sixth on the career assists list with 77 and is two away from tying for No. 5.
ANDONOVSKI ACTIVATED
Sophomore Corey Andonovski leads the Tigers in goals (6), assists (10) and points (16) over 18 games this season. He has six multi-point games this season, including 4 of his last 9 appearances. He has notched 7 points over his last 7 games.
LUCKY LUKE
Luke Keenan redirected home the only goal of the game in a 1-0 overtime win at St. Lawrence on January 11, beating the buzzer to score with 0.6 seconds remaining. The goal was his third in five games and he has 5 points over his last 5 games.
KILLING IT
Princeton is 66-for-80 (82.5) on the penalty kill this season, ranking No. 25 in the country. The Tigers have killed 28 of their last 33 penalties (84.8%) -- including a 7-for-7 performance on 12/6 against Colorado College. In their last weekend of action in the North Country, Princeton went 7-for-9 on the PK against Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
POWERING UP
Princeton has scored a power-play goal in six of its last 10 games, scoring seven total PPGs since the UNH game in Belfast. The Tigers now have at least one PPG in 11-of-19 games this season. Corey Andonovski leads the team with three power play goals while Christian O'Neill and Derek Topatigh each have two.
