Kuehl Earns ECAC Rookie of the Week Honors

With a goal in each game this past road weekend for the Princeton women's hockey team, including at No. 6 Clarkson, Annie Kuehl has earned recognition as the ECAC Rookie of the Week.

It's the second Rookie of the Week honor of the season for Princeton and first for Kuehl, with classmate Solveig Neunzert earning the honor on Nov. 18, 2019.

Kuehl had Princeton's first goal and assisted on the second in the 4-0 win Friday night at St. Lawrence, and her goal the next day at Clarkson put Princeton on the board in a game the Golden Knights held on to win, 2-1.

Now up to seven goals and six assists in her rookie season, Kuehl scored goals in back-to-back games for the second time this season, along with games on Dec. 15 against Ohio State and Jan. 3 agianst Saint Anselm.

Kuehl and the Tigers will host Brown and Yale this weekend before the first round of the ECAC playoffs come to Princeton Feb. 28 and 29 with March 1 if necessary for a third game. Tickets are available here.
