No. 19 Princeton Allows One Second Half Goal in 12-3 Victory Over La Salle

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 19 Princeton Tigers allowed just one second half goal, running away from the La Salle Explorers, 12-3, at DeNunzio Pool on Thursday evening.
Even at 1-all after eight minutes, Princeton ran off four straight goals in the second quarter before settling with a 6-2 halftime lead.
La Salle's Stephanie Morales scored the first tally of the second half at the 5:13 mark.
The Explorers didn't score the rest of the game.
That's 13:13 of game time.
Princeton scored three more times in the third quarter and three more in the fourth stanza to cruise to the win. Marissa Webb made eight of her 14 stops in the second half to help the Tigers pick up their fourth straight victory.
Princeton had nine different players score in the game. Head coach Derek Ellingson's team continues this home stretch vs. Villanova next Friday.
