Men's Track & Field Has Strong Final Meet Before Heps

PRINCETON, N.J. – In their final meet before Heps next weekend, the Princeton University men's track & field team delivered several noteworthy p Sunday at the Princeton Invitational inside Jadwin Gymnasium, including a pair of indoor top-five performances by Simen Guttormsen and Justice Dixon.
Guttormsen won the pole vault and earned another PR after he cleared 5.32 meters, the fourth-best mark in school indoor history. He bested his previous PR of 5.31 meters from the HYP Meet on Saturday, February 8.
Princeton also had a strong day in the shot put; C.J. Licata finished first after a throw of 18.82 meters and Kelton Chastulik second with a throw of 15.55 meters.
The Tigers also saw success in the 60 meters as Dixon finished first with a PR of 6.80, the fourth-fastest time in school history. Dixon's previous PR was 6.86 earned at the Navy Dual Meet on Saturday, January 11.
In the 60 hurdles, Christian Brown finished in 8.05 and won the event. Andrei Iosivas also ran a PR of 6.94 as he looks to defend his heptathlon title next weekend, topping his previous PR of 7.01 from last year's Ivy League Championships.
