Men’s Swimming & Diving Opens Competition at Ivy Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team opened competition at the Ivy League Championships Wednesday night inside Blodgetts Pool on a night that saw the Tigers earn a spot close to the top of the standings.
With 104 points, Princeton is tied for third with Brown University and narrowly trails Columbia University who is second with 108 points and Harvard University who is first with 120.
In the 800 freestyle relay the Tigers finished second and earned 56 points; Peyton Werner, Charles Leibson, Max Walther and Raunak Khosla clocked in at 6:24.08.
In the 200 medley relay Princeton finished sixth, earning 48 points. The team of Derek Cox, Daniel Arris, Khosla and Charles Leibson finished with a time of 1:27.63 seconds.

The Tigers will resume competition at the Ivy League Championships tomorrow with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
