Patrick Glory at 125, Matthew Kolodzik at 149, Quincy Monday at 157, Grant Cuomo at 165, Travis Stefanik at 184 and Patrick Brucki at 197 have qualified for the NCAA Championships, the NCAA announced Tuesday.
Brackets will be released at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The full list of qualifiers is available here.
Princeton's six qualifiers matches its 2019 number and is just one behind the all-time high of seven from 2017.
Glory, Kolodzik, Monday, Cuomo and Brucki qualified with their finish at the EIWA Championships over the weekend, and Stefanik joined them Tuesday with the NCAA at-large announcement. Glory and Kolodzik were EIWA champions, while Monday was runner-up, Brucki finished third, and Cuomo and Stefanik were sixth-place finishers, with the number of automatic NCAA bids varying by weight class.
Kolodzik's qualification makes him the second wrestler in program history to qualify four times, joining former teammate Jonathan Schleifer '18. Sophomores Glory, Monday and Stefanik are headed back for their second trips, junior Brucki is now 3 for 3 in qualifying, and it'll be sophomore Cuomo's first trip to the NCAAs.
Already the first three-time All-America in program history, Kolodzik will aim for the career sweep this year, while Glory and Brucki will aim to become the sixth and seventh Princeton wrestlers to earn multiple All-America honors. Princeton wrestlers have earned six All-America honors over the last four NCAAs, increasing the number of All-America honors in program history from 13 to 19 over that time.
Princeton's 15th-place finish at the 2019 NCAAs was its third-best in program history and best since finishing 14th in 1978. The Tigers' best-ever finish came in 1951, placing fifth.
