Ellis of Men’s Track & Field to Compete at NCAA Indoor Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – After an outstanding indoor season, Sam Ellis of the Princeton University men's track & field team will compete at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Ellis earned a spot in the championships in the mile, as his time of 3:57.66 from the Valentine Invitational stands as the ninth-fastest time in the nation. Ellis' time also broke a 29-year old school record.
The championships will be held on March 13 and 14 at Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Albuquerque Convention Center, and will be hosted by the University of New Mexico.
Along with selection the NCAA Championships, Ellis placed first in the 1,000 at the Ivy League Championships and was also part of the first-place finishing team in the DMR.
