April 15, 2020 | Women's Ice Hockey
The Hockey News had high praise in for Princeton sophomore Sarah Fillier in a story headlined "Meet the Game's Next Superstar," part of its Future Watch 2020 content.
The story, written by Jared Clinton, can be found here.
Fillier earned her second AHCA All-America honor in as many seasons this winter, becoming the first player in program history to earn two career All-America recognitions. With 70 career assists and 114 career points, Fillier is more than halfway to the program's career records in both categories.
This season, Fillier helped Princeton to a program-record 26 wins on the season and to its first-ever ECAC tournament title, defeating top-ranked Cornell in Ithaca in the ECAC final. Fillier had a goal in that game, a 3-2 OT win, as well as a goal and a helper in the 5-1 win in the semifinal against Clarkson.
