Princeton Rowing Teams Travel To The Head of Charles Sunday

BOSTON – The Shea Rowing Center will be well-represented at the prestigious Head of the Charles on Sunday as each Princeton squad will send at least one boat.
The men's heavyweight team will start the action with a 4+ boat at 1:16 p.m., before the 8+ goes off at 1:49 p.m. Princeton is coming off two top-10 finishes at the 2021 IRA Championships in the spring.
The women's open crew gets started with the 4+ at 1:30 p.m. The Tigers also have two boats in the 8+, slated for 2:25 p.m. Head coach Lori Dauphiny's team placed 10th at the 2021 NCAA Championships.
Princeton's men's lightweights have two units racing the 8+ event at 1:49 p.m. That group earned two medals at the 2021 IRAs including a silver medal with the 2V8.
The Tigers' women's lightweight team will send a 4+ (1:30 p.m.) and 8+ (2:25 p.m.) to Boston. Princeton won the national title at the 2021 IRAs, defeating Wisconsin by 26.3 seconds.
