NEWARK, Delaware – A career night from Julia Cunningham helped the Princeton Tigers drop the Delaware Blue Hens, 76-56, at the Bob Carpenter Center on Friday evening.

Head coach Carla Berube's squad ran out to 14-0 and 21-3 leads to begin the game, hitting nine of its first 11 shots. They did not miss from beyond the arc in the first 10 minutes, shooting 61.1 percent en route to a 28-17 advantage.
Delaware made just nine baskets in the first half, registering only nine points in the second quarter. Princeton's offense slowed down in the second stanza … slightly. The Tigers made 54.5 percent, taking a 46-26 halftime lead.
After a Cunningham trey expanded Princeton's advantage to 23 with 7:28 to go in the third frame, Delaware made an 18-2 push to cut its deficit to seven, 53-46, as the clock ticked under a minute.
Following two free throws, Cunningham stemmed the rally with that shot shown above.

Princeton opened the final quarter with a 10-2 run to put the game out of reach. Abby Meyers (16), Grace Stone (15) and Kaitlyn Chen (12) each contributed double figures in scoring. Stone was a team-best +32 in the victory. The Tigers have won 24 straight contests and 11 consecutive road battles.
