Dietrick '15 Helps U.S. Win the FIBA AmeriCup 3x3 Gold Medal

MIAMI – Blake Dietrick '15 helped the United States 3x3 team win the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup gold medal on Sunday afternoon.

The United States defeated Brazil, 21-9, in the gold medal contest. Dietrick contributed three points and three rebounds.

Dietrick and her team went 2-0 in qualifying rounds, defeating Trinidad and Argentina by 22-2 scores. The United States would go on to defeat Puerto Rico, 21-11, in the semifinals before the gold medal victory over Brazil.

A two-time first-team All-Ivy selection at Princeton, Dietrick was the 2015 Ivy League Player of the Year and an honorable mention All-American. She was part of three Ivy League championship teams, including the 2014-15 team which was undefeated (30-0) during the regular season and won a First Round game in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Kareem Maddox '11 was on the United States' men's squad that also won gold.
