Glory, Marsh at U23 Worlds Highlight Opening Weekend of Competition

A pair of Tigers are across the Atlantic in Serbia, representing Team USA at the U23 World Championships, and many more will be down in Virginia at the Southeast Open getting the season going for the Princeton wrestling team.
Patrick Glory, wrestling at 57 kg/125 pounds, and Jake Marsh, at 79 kg/174 pounds, are in the U23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Competition is set to begin on Friday with a 4:30-9:30 a.m. ET window for qualification rounds and continue Friday in a 10:45-11:45 a.m. ET window for semifinals. On Saturday, competition will begin again with the 4:30-9:30 a.m. ET window for repechage/placement bouts and begin at 12 p.m. for finals.
The competition will be streamed on FloWrestling, and brackets will be available on FloArena.
Stateside, the program's first competition of the season under the Princeton banner will be Sunday at the Southeast Open in Salem, Va. Competition will begin at 9 a.m. Forest Belli, Josh Breeding, Grant Bloch, Grant Cuomo, Jack DelGarbino, Kendall Elfstrum, Nick Kayal, Jacob Mann, Nick Masters, Quincy Monday, Mikey Squires, Brandon Spellman and Luke Stout will represent Princeton at the event. In that group are wrestlers ranked among the top in their weight class, including Monday ranked eighth at 157 by InterMat, Cuomo, ranked 24th at 165 by InterMat, and Stout, who was InterMat's pick for EIWA Wrestler of the Year.
The Southeast Open will also be streamed on FloWrestling, with FloArena hosting the brackets.
