Princeton Football No. 22 In AFCA Coaches' Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – Despite the loss to the Dartmouth Big Green, the Princeton Tigers are still in the thick of the Ivy League race.

Princeton is one of three teams at 4-1 along with Dartmouth and Yale. Should Princeton win its next two games, it will clinch a share of the Ivy League title.

One big game that stands in the way of deciding the Ivy League Champion is Princeton vs. Yale this Saturday at Powers Field.

Here are some nuggets to come out of the Dartmouth contest.

22: Princeton is No. 22 in the AFCA Coaches' Poll that came out today. They have been nationally ranked in at least one poll dating back since the end of September.

41: That's the number of seniors that will be honored before the game vs. Yale on Saturday. The Class of 2022 has been produced a .792 winning percentage, 38 victories and two Ivy League titles.

55: John Volker provided some juice on Friday vs. Dartmouth, securing 55 yards on 11 carries. The freshman has added two touchdowns and 87 yards on 22 carries this season.

108: Jacob Birmelin dropped in 108 all-purpose yards vs. Dartmouth, collecting seven catches for 72 yards and a 36-yard run. He has 799 all-purpose yards this season, pacing the team by over 200 yards.
