McQuigge Named ECAC Hockey/MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month

Princeton senior Rachel McQuigge has been named the ECAC Hockey/MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month for November, ECAC Hockey has announced.

McQuigge had a 1.56 GAA for the month, facing five top-10 teams in seven games played. In one of those games, against No. 5 Colgate, McQuigge set a career record with 47 saves in a 1-1 draw.

Four days before that Colgate game, McQuigge earned ECAC Hockey/MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week honors for a week that included a shutout of No. 8 Quinnipiac, the Bobcats' first and only loss of the 2021 portion of the schedule.

On the season, McQuigge has a 1.57 GAA, close to the best of her career for a full season, which came in 2019-20 when she posted a 1.51 GAA in splitting time with Stephanie Neatby '20 in helping Princeton through a season that included the ECAC Hockey tournament title and an NCAA tournament berth. McQuigge's .953 save percentage on the season would be the best of her career over a full season.
