The final tournament of the 2021 season came to a close for the Princeton wrestling team on Thursday at the MatMen Open outside Chicago.
Sophomore Nate Dugan, at 174, had the highlight win of the event for Princeton, defeating Rutgers' Jackson Turley, ranked 16th in the nation by InterMat. Dugan was one of five Princeton wrestlers to advance to the tournament's second day on Thursday, though the Tiger contingent came up just short of wrestling for placement. Dugan and Marshall Keller, at 149, advanced furthest in the main draw, with each making the quarterfinals.
