Women's Basketball No. 20 In NCAA NET Rankings

The Princeton Women's Basketball team hits the first full week of December with a 6-2 record following a 1-1 week that saw it take down No. 22 Florida Gulf Coast and fall to Fordham.

Abby Meyers' game-winning basket with 17 seconds to go proved to be the difference as Princeton took down its first nationally ranked opponent in 43 years with a 58-55 decision over the No. 22 Florida Gulf Coast Eagles on Wednesday. Â

Meyers tied her personal best with 22 points, knocking down a career-high six treys, but it wasn't enough as Princeton fell to Fordham, 76-67, on Sunday afternoon. Trailing by one, 41-40, the Rams used that 15-point sprint to end the third quarter, taking a 55-41 advantage into the final 10 minutes. Fordham led by as many as 18 in the fourth stanza before earning the nine-point victory.
