Men's Track & Field to Host Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's track & field team will compete in its first meet of the season, the Princeton Invitational, Sunday inside Weaver Stadium.
"We are very excited to give our student athletes a chance to compete," said William M. Weaver Jr. '34 Head Coach of Men's Track & Field Fred Samara. "The dedication and team spirit the guys have shown over the past months has been truly amazing."
The College of New Jersey and select student-athletes from Temple University will be attending the meet. Field events commence at 1 p.m. while track events begin at 3 p.m.
Spectator & Media Policy
Spectators and media will not be allowed at home Princeton Athletics events for the remainder of the Spring term. Attendance at away events is determined by the host institution.
Meet Schedule
Field Events
The opening field event of the meet starts at 1 p.m. and the last at 5 p.m.
Running Events
The first track event will begin at 3 p.m. and the last at 6 p.m.
*Schedule is subject to change based on final entries and inclement weather.
Intra-Squad
While the Princeton Invitational will be the team's first official competition, it will be its second time in a competitive environment this semester. On Sunday, March 21, the team used its practice time as an intra-squad meet.
