Three Tigers Named To U.S. Roster Of The 2020-21 FIH Hockey Pro League

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – U.S. Field Hockey has named Julianna Tornetta, Maddie Bacskai and Beth Yeager to its 25-athlete traveling roster that will finish its schedule of the 2020-21 FIH Hockey Pro League.

The squad will travel to Europe for four matches, two each vs. Belgium and Great Britain. It will be 438 days between games for the U.S. team. These games will be used to determine the U.S. national roster selections in June.

Bacskai is a three-time All-Region and First-Team All-Ivy player during her time at Princeton. In 2017, she was honored with a First-Team All-America accolade while also being named Ivy Defensive Player of the Year. She was a three-time captain, two-time Ivy champion and went to three Final Fours. She graduates with 11 goals, six assists and 28 career points.

Tornetta is a two-time All-American, adding three All-Region and First-Team All-Ivy credits. She also collected consecutive NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team honors along with a 2017 Ivy Rookie of the Year laurel. She is a two-time Ivy Champion and went to two Final Fours. She graduates with 18 goals, 33 assists and 69 career points.

Yeager is an incoming freshman in the Class of 2025 from Greenwich, Conn.
